Senior Salesforce Architect (Sales Cloud + AWS)

Location : Remote (Preferred : EST or CST Time Zones)

Type : Right-to-Hire (Contract-to-Permanent)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Architect to lead end-to-end solution design, architecture, and integration for enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep technical and functional expertise in Sales Cloud and strong working knowledge of AWS services for integrations and scalable system design.

This is a senior leadership role requiring exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant, maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best-practice alignment.

Define and enforce integration strategies between Salesforce and AWS platforms (e.g., S3, Lambda, API Gateway, or AppFlow).

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business objectives into comprehensive architecture blueprints.

Oversee data modeling, security design, and API integrations across multiple enterprise systems.

Establish and maintain governance standards for Salesforce development, configuration, and deployment.

Mentor developers and administrators to ensure adherence to architecture guidelines and maintain system integrity.

Partner with DevOps teams to optimize CI / CD pipelines and deployment automation using Salesforce DX and AWS tools.

Conduct architecture reviews and recommend performance optimizations or refactoring of existing implementations.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and large-scale enterprise implementations.

Proven expertise in Sales Cloud architecture , including automation, data modeling, and complex configuration.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS integration , especially leveraging services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SNS / SQS.

Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns , APIs (REST / SOAP), middleware, and authentication models.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to interface with both business and technical leaders.

Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and distributed development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (or higher) credentials.

Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid environments integrating Salesforce with AWS data lakes or analytics platforms.

Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI / CD automation using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Copado.

Prior experience in Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud architecture.
