Accounting Clerk

Bellows Plumbing, Heating Cooling & Electrical is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to support our finance team.

This position is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks experience and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

1. Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
2. Monitor and follow up on collections to ensure timely payments.
3. Enter, process, and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks.
4. Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
5. Assist with month-end close and prepare supporting documentation.
6. Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years prior experience in AP, AR, and collections.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or service-related companies.
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or other service management software.
