The Director of Employee Relations will play a key leadership role in strengthening our culture and supporting the teams that make our mission possible.
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations leadership, this individual will serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee matters, investigations, and engagement strategies. This position ensures that all employee relations activities are handled with fairness, transparency, and in alignment with our company's values and legal requirements, while partnering with operations leaders to drive accountability, engagement, and cultural consistency across our growing organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead and oversee all employee relations functions, including investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
- Partner closely with Operations leadership and the COO to provide proactive support, coaching, and guidance on employee relations issues across offices and regions.
- Advise managers and leaders on best practices for addressing employee concerns, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement standardized processes, documentation, and communication protocols for employee relations cases and outcomes.
- Conduct thorough, confidential investigations into workplace complaints or policy violations, ensuring fairness and timely resolution.
- Partner with the VP of Human Resources to design and deliver training programs for leaders on topics such as employee engagement, conflict resolution, documentation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR teams to ensure alignment with employment laws and company policies.
- Track and analyze employee relations trends to identify root causes and recommend preventative actions or policy enhancements.
- Support culture and engagement initiatives, helping to build a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and heard.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, maintaining a balanced and objective approach that protects both people and business.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of progressive HR or Employee Relations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or advisory capacity.Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Proven ability to conduct and manage complex investigations and sensitive situations.Experience supporting multi-site or field-based operations preferred, ideally in healthcare or service industries.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in all matters.OUR BENEFITS :
