JOB PURPOSE :   To ensure the execution of civil processes and mandates of the courts; performs all other related work as required.  The position is part-time, twenty hours per week.  There is a limited benefits package available. Pay is $28 per hour.  Please note, applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.  Applications accepted until position is filled.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.  Preference will be given to postsecondary education, especially in criminal justice;
• Preference given to previous law enforcement officer with emphasis on civil matters;
• Training in real estate law and landlord / tenant law helpful but not required;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Working knowledge of the statutes, local laws, law enforcement rules and regulations, and the court system;
• Knowledge of civil and criminal law and rules of court;
• Thorough knowledge of the court system and procedures;
• Knowledge of unarmed self-defense;
• Ability to make sound judgments under stressful situations;
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely;
• Ability to analyze and interpret laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, standards, and procedures and to apply them to specific situations and cases;
• Ability to work without direct supervision;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Proficient computer skills with Spillman / Summit, Microsoft office, report generation, email, texting, voicemail, automated timecard and data entry.
