The VA Portland Healthcare Center actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff physician in Neurology – Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders (BE considered) to help care for our Veterans – American’s Heroes.

The Portland Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center Neurologists manages a variety of neurological movements disorders conditions of Veteran patients with Parkinson’s disease, Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders, Dystonia, Huntington’s Disease, and others. You will see general neurology patients inpatient Neurology duties, which included both a ward and consult service. Participate in all aspects of a Movement Disorders Neurology program, to include clinical, administrative, academic, and research components. Patient caseload may be inpatient, outpatient, or both and include a range of neurological disorders. Must be comfortable with DBS programming for multiple platforms. Have some procedural experience with botulinum toxin injections for hemi-facial spasm, migraine, blephospasm, dystonia and occipital nerve blocks, but training can be an option.   Manageable volume & on-call, maximim of 4 weeks per year. BC / BE in Neurology is required.
