  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, IMC, or acute care nursing jobs\n
  • BLS certification required\n
  • ACLS certification preferred\n
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts\n
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills\n
  • Must reside at least 60 miles from Hickory, NC to qualify for travel nurse assignment\n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients\n
  • Monitor and assess cardiac patients, responding to changes in condition\n
  • Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care\n
  • Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record\n
  • Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development for nurses\n
