Salary : $70,000 - $90,000

Job Summary : The Transload Warehouse Supervisor is to direct receiving, warehousing

and distribution operations. He will oversee the efficient receipt, storage,

value-adding servicing and business development within the company's policies

and vision. Ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all processes are

running smoothly and promptly.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Strategically manage warehouse staff to ensure shipments are managed in a timely and organized manner.
• Monitor layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Oversee fulfillment, receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations using independent judgment and discernment
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, and security by company, state and OSHA standards for operation, including emergency procedures, PPE and heat illness awareness
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Communicate with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports, BOLs, and Tally sheets
• Interface with temp agencies as needed
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Monitoring cleanliness of the warehouse and yard.
• Serve as backup to Terminal Coordinator as needed
• Assist with dispatch and provide updates to Terminal Coordinator
• Attend routine management meetings and provide department reports
