What You'll Do
Evaluate large operational datasets to identify trends that will be recommended to operations to support growth and process automation.Apply advanced data analytics techniques to identify business transactions that can be automated.Develop robust, scalable solutions for collecting & analyzing large data sets. Must be proficient in creating & maintaining data pipelines. Big data knowledge is a plus.Utilize and interact with data analytics tools and platforms (Excel, SSMS (SQL), Power BI, Mongo DB, etc.).Assist Strategy team to drive strategic organizational initiatives, implement systems and processes, and inspire adoption of practices and processes to meet objectives.Apply strong communication and organizational skills to grow internal and external business relationships.Must be comfortable working in a cadenced, deliverables-focused environment.Ability to work with multiple data sources and types (structured / semi-structured / unstructured).Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in data science, business analytics, data management, information management or related major or equivalent experience required.3–5 years of relevant experience.MS Office 365 experience required.SSMS proficiency in developing packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL statements a plus.Understanding of transportation markets, price elasticity of demand, and risk evaluation preferred but not required.Skills / Certifications
