Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Morristown, NJ (07960) – Explore New Jersey healthcare jobs in a town known for its rich history, scenic parks, and bustling downtown.

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2310 - $2470

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 14 / 2026)

Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule : 3 shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours)

Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Openings : 3 Labor & Delivery RN positions available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN License in New Jersey or compact state (required for nursing jobs in NJ)

ACLS and BLS certifications (required for healthcare professionals)

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)

Minimum 2 years of recent travel nurse experience in large hospital settings with high-risk pregnancies

L&D RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments for Labor & Delivery patients, including those with high-risk pregnancies

Deliver skilled nursing care, utilizing clinical expertise in emergency procedures and equipment

Maintain accurate documentation, patient education, and monitor progress toward outcomes

Uphold professionalism and compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and HIPAA guidelines

Enhance patient and family satisfaction through compassionate communication and support

Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, including patient identification and safe transfer techniques

Customize patient care throughout the perioperative continuum, considering anesthesia and individual needs

Collaborate with the perioperative team to prioritize and direct patient care as conditions change

Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-care instructions

Support completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders
