Position Summary
Coastal Healthcare Services is seeking a passionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing behavioral health team. This position offers flexibility for clinicians seeking part-time, full-time, or fee-for-service arrangements while working in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
As a BCBA with Coastal, you'll provide direct supervision, clinical oversight, and treatment planning for children receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across home, school, and community settings. You will collaborate with families, therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure each child's program is evidence-based, individualized, and outcome-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Supervisory Practice
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Oversee the clinical implementation of ABA programs by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists.
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and competency assessments for assigned staff.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote skill generalization and positive behavioral outcomes.
- Maintain client confidentiality and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Medicaid.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete session notes, reports, and data analysis in accordance with Coastal Healthcare Services and funding-source requirements.Track supervision hours and ensure timely submission of all billing and compliance documentation.Participate in quality assurance reviews and interdisciplinary meetings.Professional Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to provide integrated care.Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to program growth initiatives.Promote a collaborative, compassionate, and family-centered culture.Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related fieldCurrent certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Active or eligible for D.C. licensure (Behavior Analyst)Experience working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, or related conditionsStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsPreferred Experience
2+ years of experience in pediatric or educational ABA settingsFamiliarity with Medicaid, school-based, or insurance-funded ABA service deliverySupervisory experience with RBTs or paraprofessional staffBilingual candidates (Spanish / English) are highly encouraged to applyCompensation & Benefits
