The nurse will be required to provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia. Call requirements include one weekend day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM and three weekday night shifts. Call is from the time the PACU shift ends until 7 AM the following morning. The role demands attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Experience with EMR systems is preferred, specifically in Meditech.
