As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies including responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Observe and report any suspicious behavior hazards or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials when required. Work collaboratively with store management and staff to support a secure environment for employees and customers. Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner documenting all security-related activities and / or incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
