  • Location : Lawrenceburg, TN 38464 (Tennessee nursing jobs)\n
  • Facility Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), acute care hospital\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
  • Start Date : November 3, 2025\n
  • End Date : December 29, 2025\n
  • Contract Duration : 8 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 (every other weekend required)\n
  • Unit Size : 6-bed ICU\n
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1630 - $1750\n

    • \n\nICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse experience preferred)\n
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, PALS (must be obtained prior to start date)\n
  • Ability to float to non-specialty units as needed\n
  • Positive, optimistic, and objective attitude\n
  • Successful completion of Tennessee Abuse Registry check\n
  • No artificial nails permitted per hospital policy\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to adult, geriatric, and seasonal pediatric patients in the ICU\n
  • Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, pneumonia, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)\n
  • Utilize advanced critical thinking and clinical skills to assess, plan, and implement patient care\n
  • Document all care and interventions using Medhost EHR system\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Participate in biweekly orientation sessions (Mondays)\n
  • Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures\n
