SUMMARY : Casuals will be lashing down cargo, working inspections, or tasked with various jobs on the terminal. Casuals may also operate yard jockey trucks to load and offload barges.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES : Required to perform duties in the freight warehouses, lashing onboard vessels, working in various other positions throughout the terminal, and performing other physical and manual labor tasks as directed by terminal management.

PAY : $21.12 / hourly

• Benefits are provided for employees.

HOURS : No set schedules or guaranteed hours - job is on-call. Casuals are NOT GUARANTEED a (40) forty-hour work week nor a full-time regular position with the company.

Qualifications

Casual lasher / drivers are temporary employees used to cover situations such as replacements for absenteeism, vacation, and increased workload. This position is not permanent but does have the potential to become permanent.

Must have a valid driver's license and TWIC badge.
