How will you be compensated :
$100,000-$135,000 Base Salary in year 1Uncapped New Business Commission StructureYearly Renewal Business CommissionsMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance plans. Work in our Irvine office alongside peers 3 days per week while working remotely and in the field up to 2 days per week with Agency provided technology and hardwareTenaciously solicit new business with drive and initiative through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead sourcesWork closely with your mentors and manager to gain a deep understanding of Employee Benefits products as well as industry knowledge, laws / regulations and best practicesSuccessfully manage the full sales cycle including :Lead generation
Prospecting / OutreachPresentingNegotiatingClosing with C-Suite level executivesPresenting Open EnrollmentsRenewal processDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Employee Benefits marketUnderstand laws and regulations associated with Employee Benefits administration including Affordable Care ActPresent renewal proposals to existing clients and deliver open enrollment presentationsAdvise clients on the changing landscape of the benefits environment and develop unique client business strategiesContinually learn and proactively respond within a constantly changing marketYour Qualifications :
4 year college degree or relevant work experience in client-facing role3-5 years of Outside Sales / Cold Calling experienceKnowledge of basic insurance concepts and willingness to undergo comprehensive training in benefits products, coverages, and underwriting guidelinesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProactive and self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a sales-oriented environmentProficiency in software applications commonly used in an office environmentCA Health & Life license or attainment within 90 days (employer sponsored)
