Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist - I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Ocala, FL, 34471

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Ocala, FL, 34471

Schedule : Mon, Tues, Fri, - 6 AM - 5 PM Sat - 6 AM - 1 PM EST (37hours / week)

Pay Range : $17.75 - $19.75 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
  • Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric

Required Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
  • Medical training : medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification is preferred

    • Work Experience :

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
  • One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
  • Keyboard / data entry experience is a must.
