Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry float pool night shift position requiring AZ or compact licensure and strong telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital setting within the medical-surgical telemetry department
  • Float pool role covering Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
  • Patient ratio is 6 : 1
  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 19 : 00–07 : 30
  • Required to work six weekend shifts within each six-week schedule
  • Float pool RNs must be willing to work at multiple hospital locations as needed
  • Tele nurses utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to ensure safe delivery of care
  • Direction and supervision of assigned staff is required
  • Limited RTO requests will be considered (less than 1 week)
  • Night shift position with holiday and weekend coverage as assigned

    • Requirements

  • Active AZ or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • No certification to expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
