Citibank, N.A. seeks a Risk ID 1st LOD Sr. Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties : Assess Initial and ongoing periodic Product Risk Rating for assigned products and overlay qualitative assessment as necessary. Product Risk Rating Assessment is executed as part of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework that spans review across Enterprise Risk Programs, including Risk ID, Risk Appetite, and Product Risk Management. Manage Product Inventory of current offering for content and completeness, including approving changes and evaluating downstream impacts of updates. Monitor product risk profiles, including emergent occurrence that is potentially relevant to the risk of a Product or Service. Ensure ongoing data quality and completeness of the Product Inventory for assigned USPB products (Cards, Deposits, and Mortgages), and by risk category (Credit, Operational, Compliance). Track assigned action items & reviews and escalate past due items to the Business teams. Review financial and non-financial risks associated with U.S. Personal Banking products and features to maintain consistency across portfolios or segments. Use advanced data analysis skills leveraging Excel, SAS / SQL and Tableau to evaluate data, identify opportunities and trends leveraging process and control level data. Partner with product teams to review emerging risks on products and support development of mitigation plans. Review new activities ensuring that product inventory is kept updated and leverage controls and other financial data to analyze associated risks. Collaborate with stakeholders across 1LOD and 2LOD to identify opportunities to scale and streamline products and product features based on risk-reward trade-off analysis, on a need basis. Review new activities proposals and assess incremental risks impact to existing product inventory. Make recommendations on implementation plan and monitor roll-out process of new activities. Ensure newly proposed activities align with broader U.S. business initiatives and are consistent with critical interests vested in emerging business areas. Analyze incidents involving U.S. Personal Banking products and review effectiveness of associated controls to identify gaps and opportunities. Communicate root cause analysis for audiences with technical and non-technical background. Recommend mitigation plans in alignment with second line of defense. Monitor emerging areas of risk and concerns through internal and external sources; prioritize plans based on materiality. A telecommuting / hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements : Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Operations Research or related field and 8 years of experience as a Risk Solutions Manager, Risk Manager, Operations Risk Manager, VP, Sr Manager, Credit Risk Manager, Statistical Analyst or related position involving U.S. personal banking products, product lifecycle, features and capabilities. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 10 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include : Analysis of financial and non-financial risk data for Credit, Compliance & Operations risk rating impact assessment; Data analysis tools leveraging Excel and SAS; Data mining, segmentation, control, and monitoring for activities and trends analyses and evaluation; Driving large scale and long-term initiatives; Working with senior leaders and key stakeholders. Additionally, 3 years of experience must include : U.S. personal banking products management and analysis of risk controls; Reviewing incremental risks associated with new activities and assessing the impacts to the existing product risk; SQL and Tableau reporting.
