Travel CT Scan Technologist – Radiology

Location : Tucson, AZ

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 9 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 PM, 3x12s (Mon / Tue / Wed)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Requirements

CT License – Required

BLS – Required

Experience : Minimum 1 year CT experience required

Position Overview

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) . The technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities include :

Performing routine diagnostic CT procedures including head / brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen / pelvis, extremities, and biopsy / drainage procedures

Knowledge of CT system processing and operation

Assisting with surgical / sterile procedures as needed

Performing studies with or without contrast media

Applying cross-sectional anatomy knowledge to imaging and patient care
