Continuous Improvement and Training Manager

Job Summary

The Continuous Improvement and Training Manager will lead efforts to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and workforce capability within an insulating glass manufacturing facility. This role combines Lean methodologies with hands-on training programs to optimize processes

Key Responsibilities :

Continuous Improvement

Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs

Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify improvement opportunities

Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of CI projects

Champion a CI mindset across all levels of the organization

Maintain CI project pipeline and ensure alignment with business goals

Create SOPs and visual work instructions for forming, inspection, and packing stations

Training & Development

Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department leaders

Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs (technical, soft skills, compliance, onboarding)

Learning Management Systems (LMS) and track training effectiveness

Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives

Ensure training programs comply with industry standards and regulations

Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a change agent to foster innovation and adaptability

Coach and mentor employees and managers on CI tools and methodologies

Collaborate with HR, Quality, Safety, and Operations to align training with strategic goals

Communicate progress and results to senior leadership

Qualifications :

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in : Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field

5+ years of experience in CI, training, or organizational development

Proven track record of leading successful CI initiatives

Skills & Certifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (Black Belt preferred)

Strong facilitation, coaching, and project management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning tools

Compensation $70K - $90K DOE plus a lucrative Monthly Profit Sharing Bonus averaging 30% with potential of 52%
