Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Start Date : December 7, 2025

End Date : March 8, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

On-call Requirement : None

Holiday Requirement : Work major holidays (flexible scheduling possible)

Orientation : Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (next orientation dates : 12 / 8 or 12 / 15)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750 - $1870

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience

Preferred : Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Airvo

Nicotine-free healthcare facility

Ability to float to lower acuity units as needed

New graduate nurses are not accepted

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit

Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support

Administer medications, manage IV drips, and monitor arterial lines

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery processes

Float to other nursing units as required

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
