Senior Underwriter

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a pipeline with specified turnaround times for underwriting

Analyze risk for credit decisions based on various guidelines

Communicate errors and missing information to processors and issue final approvals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent combination of education / experience

SAR and / or DE certification preferred

Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriter experience preferred

Working knowledge of mortgage banking software and underwriting processes

Experience underwriting USDA and Bond programs is a plus
