Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Summary :

As a Warehouse Operations Manager for A. Duie Pyle you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on assigned shift while enforcing all safety policies & practices ensuring training and development of new and existing Pyle employees and providing a safe and productive work environment.

The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to :

• Daily interaction with warehouse customers teams. This includes their clerical staff management inventory team sales group 3rd party transportation providers etc
• Ensuring the staff on the assigned shift is meeting service level objectives
• Overseeing warehouse productivity on assigned shift
• Managing risk; supervising and enforcing safety policies and best practices
• Coordinating and ensuring the training of Warehouse associates including forklift certification(s)
• Developing staff by setting clear expectations providing feedback teaching andcoaching
• Documenting performance-related activity in the warehouse; developing a plan of action to correct negative situations
• Working with Warehouse Leadership and HR to ensure adherence to Company Policies
• Overseeing Quality Audit process and ensure consistent adherence to disciplinary guidelines
• Responsible for managing customer inventory accuracy and quality assurance processes
• Handle customer inquiries that need additional approval or require investigation to resolve
• Working a flexible schedule in order to meet Customer and Company needs which may include extended shifts and weekend work; maintain consistent adherence to schedule
