Key Responsibilities

  • Employ advanced radiographic and CT techniques to deliver accurate diagnostic images for physician evaluation
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support precise diagnostic outcomes
  • Skillfully position patients and fine-tune equipment to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Implement strict radiation safety protocols for patients and colleagues
  • Keep thorough documentation, including imaging records and maintenance logs
  • Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging process, ensuring patient comfort
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology program
  • Certifications Needed

  • ARRT certification in CT and / or Radiography
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment
  • Essential Skills

  • Solid understanding of diagnostic imaging protocols and best safety practices
  • Exceptional communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary staff
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and modern imaging technologies
