  • Team with the Branch Director and Business Development & Marketing leadership to develop and execute specific goals, initiatives, and strategies to support business development.
  • Help develop and execute regionally focused business development plans to identify cross-selling opportunities, expand client relationships, and generate revenue.
  • Leverage your experience and network to secure meetings with key decision-makers (C-level) within the A / E / C industries, with skills to effectively communicate strategy and vision.
  • Develop and maintain strategic multi-level client relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviors of key decision-makers, engendering new business opportunities.
  • Understand competitive intelligence and research to ensure strong intra-disciplinary and industry group communication and client service opportunities.
  • Leverage SM&W's marketing technology, Deltek Vantagepoint CRM to identify potential leads and update, track, and manage opportunities and pursuits.

Experience you will need :

  • Bachelor's degree or real-life experience in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of business development experience and network in the A / E / C industry.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Deltek Vantage or CRM software.
  • Exceptional writing and overall communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
