Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient care tasks within the medical assistant scope of practice.
- Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation.
- Notify patients of test results as directed by providers.
- Administer immunizations under provider orders and maintain accurate medication records.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Coordinate referrals and ensure timely processing of consults and diagnostics.
- Manage exam room supplies, perform room checks, and uphold infection control standards.
- Collaborate with environmental services to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.Licenses and Certifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by state regulations.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within 90 days of hire.Skills and Abilities
