Job Description

UHS Wilson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and the ability to manage complex and fast-paced patient situations in a Level II trauma setting.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department.

Respond to trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and pediatric emergencies according to established protocols.

Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the EMR system.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements

License : Active RN license (New York or compact).

Certifications : BLS and ACLS (required).

Experience : Minimum 3 years of current ED experience and prior travel experience .

Skills : Proficient in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts

48 hours per week

Every other weekend required
