Job descriptionProvide inpatient coverage for weekday STEMI calls. Assist with rounding and consults during the week (Monday - Thursday). Manage inpatient procedures and support STEMI cases on weekends. Supervise two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during rounding. Board Certification : Required State License : Required (can consider candidates who need to obtain a license) ACLS Certification : Required Experience : Proven experience in Interventional Cardiology. Patient Demographics : Primarily adult and geriatric patients. Procedures Involved : Coronary Angioplasty Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Heart Catheterization Coronary Angiograms Average Patient Load : Daily rounding of about 24 patients Average of 3 procedures per day Call Responsibilities : 24-hour call from Friday to Sunday. Reimbursement Includes : Hotel accommodations Rental car Mileage billed at the IRS standard rate Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 90 days.
