Student Assistant Facilities Services - Institutional Student Worker

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Student Assistant for Facilities Services on the Blue Ridge campus.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial maintenance duties to include sweeping, dusting, mopping and vacuuming carpets/floors.
• Cleaning restrooms and emptying trash.
• Maintaining campus grounds, lawn care, flower and shrub care, pulling weeds.
• Providing event support assisting the setting up and breaking down of events.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to perform physical labor to include but not limited to lifting, pushing/pulling objects up to 50 pounds, climbing and working from ladders and performing manual labor tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to operate power hand tools, landscape machinery, and custodial equipment
• Ability to set up and break down tables and chairs.

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker
