HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a travel job in Bend, Oregon.
Job Description & Requirements
Title : Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
Location : Bend, OR
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30), Monday–Friday
Job Responsibilities :
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including complex ablation and pacemaker cases.
Perform cardiac ablation procedures (cryo, PFA) and mapping using systems such as Philips imaging and Abbott Claris.
Support pacemaker and AICD insertion, programming, and testing.
Scrub in and maintain sterile field during invasive cardiac procedures.
Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening arrhythmias during EP studies.
Adhere to isolation and infection control precautions.
Ensure accurate documentation and communication with the healthcare team throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an EP Lab.
Certifications :
Required : BLS and ACLS
Either CCI RCES or ARRT R accepted (both preferred)
Technical Skills :
Electrophysiology studies
Cardiac ablation (Cryo, PFA)
Pacemaker and AICD insertion / programming
Temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures
Maintenance of sterile field and scrub procedures
Recognition of arrhythmias and emergency response
Equipment Knowledge : Philips imaging systems, Abbott Claris.
Charting : Any system accepted; Epic experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience assisting with complex EP cases, including frequent ablation procedures and pacemaker implants.
Previous experience working in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath / EP Lab.
