H & H Chevrolet Cadillac is HIRING NOW for a friendly, energetic Service Department Assistant to assist with Service Department overflow duties. You will be helping the Service Advisors with advising customers on service options and costs, scheduling service appointments, rental check-ins, and assisting the Service Manager as needed in our High-Volume Shop. Ideal candidates will have shop or dealership experience, but we will train motivated candidates!

Responsibilities Service Department Assistant :

  • Schedule appointments for service / maintenance / recall work
  • Greet customers and inspect their vehicle
  • Conduct all business with sincerity, honesty, and genuine concern for customer
  • Assist Service Advisors with advising customers about necessary / suggested services and costs
  • Follow the status of the customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work
  • Keep customers and Service Advisors informed of any changes that occur
  • Rental check-ins
  • Other duties may be assigned

    • Qualifications Service Department Assistant :

  • Previous Dealership or Shop experience is preferred but not required!
  • Previous Service Advisor, Service Department, or Sales Department experience in Automotive, RV, Motorsport, or Marine dealership experience is a plus!
  • Sales or Customer Service experience in any industry is a plus!
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations is preferred
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude
  • Good work ethic and computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
