Job Description
Join a high-performing care team delivering hands-on support that keeps patients safe, comfortable, and engaged. You'll assist with daily care, mobility, basic procedures, and room readiness-partnering closely with RNs and providers to elevate the patient experience.
What you'll do
- Assist with admissions, vitals, intake / output, hygiene, toileting, turning / positioning, and mobility / transfers.
- Provide non-medicated care (basic dressing changes, skin protection, supportive devices) per unit protocols.
- Maintain clean, safe, and stocked patient rooms / common areas; support infection-prevention checklists and environmental logs.
- Transport patients / specimens / equipment; respond to call lights promptly.
- Document care accurately in the EMR; escalate changes in condition to the RN.
- Communicate kindly with patients / families; help create a calm, welcoming environment.
Must-have qualifications
MediClear (or equivalent HIPAA compliance certification) - required.Basic Life Support (BLS) (or obtained within 30 days of hire)Experience as PCT / CNA / MA or clinical rotations preferred; will consider strong entry-level candidates with the right attitude and reliability.Ability to lift / position patients with assistance; stand / walk for extended periods; follow safety and infection-control practices.Professional communication; comfort using computers / EMR.Nice to have
Current FL CNA, MA, or EMT credential.Hospital or acute care experience.Familiarity with phlebotomy, EKG, glucose monitoring (unit-specific training provided).Why you'll love it here
