Battery Pack and Module Teardown Technician 25224

Job Description : Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an advanced energy technology organization, is seeking a skilled Battery Pack and Module Teardown Technician. This role is responsible for safely disassembling high-voltage battery systems, supporting failure analysis, and contributing to process improvements in battery research environments.

Job Duties

• Perform teardowns of battery modules and packs, including failure analysis at the cell and component level
• Operate and maintain lab equipment such as thermal chambers, potentiostats, and electrical diagnostic tools
• Support engineering teams in analyzing performance and safety issues
• Follow strict safety protocols when handling high-voltage and hazardous materials
• Conduct pre-operation risk assessments and safety checks on battery systems
• Assist in refining teardown procedures for efficiency and repeatability
• Document observations, measurements, and findings accurately using digital tools
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for lab operations
