- Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on Nissan vehicles, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively.
- Execute alignment services and other mechanical repairs with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimates for repairs.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally.
- Utilize both hand tools and power tools efficiently for various automotive tasks.
- Assist in diesel engine repair as needed, applying relevant skills from mechanic experience.
- Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with welding and maintenance tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong customer service skills to enhance the overall client experience.
