Job Title : Registered Nurses Med / Surg\n\nLocation : Chinle, AZ\n\nStart date : Jan 2025.\n\nDuration : 1 year (options for 26 weeks or fulltime)\n\nShift times : 7 shifts / 2-week period days and Nights 12 hours\n\nQualification\n\nLicense : Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in any State of USA\n\nCertifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS (AHA) mandatory\n\nExperience : Should have 3 years of recent nursing experience with a minimum 2 years in Med-Surg / Acute Care\n\n3 Current Supervisory Professional References\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive, individualized nursing care to adult patients in the Adult Care Unit (ACU) using the nursing process for goal-oriented outcomes.\n
• Apply extensive knowledge of medical-surgical nursing, including disease processes, medications, and psychosocial principles to meet patients' diverse needs.\n
• Monitor medication administration, ensuring understanding of dosages, effects, side effects, and potential complications.\n
• Interpret medical procedure results to determine and implement necessary nursing interventions.\n
• Work effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families to foster a supportive care environment.\n
• Use the CCHCF Electronic Health Record system for accurate patient documentation and information retrieval.\n
• Oversee unit assignments based on patient acuity, manage narcotic inventory, and perform timely checks and logs.
