Your Purpose We are seeking an Investigations Sr. Specialist to be the founding member of our new Investigation Unit. This hybrid role is crucial for applying advanced analytical techniques to monitor, detect, and respond to emerging fraud trends on our platform. You will be responsible for building early-alert systems, conducting deep-dive investigations, leading the tactical response to significant fraud events, and shaping the strategic direction of this new team to enhance our fraud prevention capabilities.

Reports To This person will report to the Fraud Analytics Manager, inside the Fraud Prevention team.

Who You Are Failure to meet any of the following required qualifications could result in an automatic rejection.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on fraud prevention in e-commerce, fintech, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in SQL; hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end investigations, including both analytical and manual forensics, preferably in cross-border fintech or crypto environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the crypto space is a strong plus.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark) and version control (e.g., GitHub) is a plus.
• A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of impactful delivery.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of building prevention systems and leading complex investigations.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a capacity to balance tactical oversight with long-term strategic vision.
