Senior Accountant

Wellfit is the dental industry's fintech solution! A healthcare fintech company that enhances experiences between patients, providers, employers, and payors. Wellfit provides access to treatment and care of all by removing financial barriers.

As we scale, we're seeking a strategic and detail-driven Senior Accountant to own critical elements of our financial operations. This high-impact role will partner directly with leadership to drive financial clarity, operational efficiency, and scalable processespaving the way for Wellfit's continued growth and market expansion.

What You'll Own :

  • Lead all month-end and year-end close processes with speed, accuracy, and audit readiness.
  • Own AR / AP workflows, invoice management, and reconciliationsensuring financial integrity across the board.
  • Deliver financial reporting and variance analysis that shapes business decisions.
  • Build and maintain accounting infrastructure in partnership with our FP&A and operations teams.
  • Continuously refine accounting procedures to support automation, scalability, and best-in-class compliance.
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and optimization across multiple business units.
  • Interface directly with external auditors and drive successful audit outcomes.

What You Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience or 5+ years in high-growth environments (a hybrid of both ideal).
  • Hands-on experience across the full accounting lifecycle : AR / AP, cash management, purchasing, and expense control.
  • Expertise with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms.
  • Deep fluency in GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • A collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
