Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the auto facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client contacts as directed. Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors while representing Allied Universal on site. Document and maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Auto Patrol Shift
As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Shift in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an automotive-focused location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing a reassuring presence for employees and visitors. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and professionally while assisting with inquiries or concerns. Sunday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
