As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at your assigned location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be a reliable presence, ready to respond to situations as they arise and to communicate clearly with both visitors and staff. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $16.93 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 09 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Tuesday 09 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Friday 09 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Sunday 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
