Director Of Security
We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Director of Security to lead and manage all aspects of safety and security at our hotel. This role is critical to ensuring the protection of guests, employees, and property, while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of hospitality security operations.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead and manage the hotel's security team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to align security initiatives with overall business goals.
- Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and visitors through proactive risk management and incident prevention.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and evacuations.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for staff.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and security audits.
Qualifications :
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in hospitality or a similar environment.Professional verbal and communication skills.Proficient in computer skills.Proven leadership and team management skills.Strong knowledge of security systems, emergency response protocols, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).Candidates should have open availability to include evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.Primary Location : US-AZ-Phoenix
