Hospitality Support Team Member

Reports to : Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, Dining Room Captain
Status : Part-time | Non-Exempt

Position Summary
Provide essential assistance to the Front of House team by delivering food and beverages, bussing tables and glassware, moving tables for special events, and setting up the dining room before, during, and after meal service. This role ensures a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for members and guests.
Position Characteristics
Employees must thrive in a fast-paced food service environment and maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times. Work should be proactive and accurate, anticipating member needs, clearing tables, refilling drinks, and assisting the team efficiently. This is a non-exempt, hourly position requiring a flexible schedule.
Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to)
- Efficiently clear plates, utensils, and glassware; reset tables promptly for the next seating.
- Maintain cleanliness and polish glassware and silverware; keep floors, counters, and dining areas organized.
- Assist servers with setup, service, and cleanup; ensure timely delivery of water and food.
- Run food items to tables as needed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Support food preparation, cleaning, and overall dining area maintenance.
- Collect trash from dining room, kitchen, and other designated areas.
- Clean up spills or broken serviceware with minimal disruption to members.
- Assist Dining Room Captain, servers, and other team members in enforcing Club policies and procedures.
- Support banquet personnel with setup, service, and cleanup for events.
- Attend trainings and meetings; move tables and chairs as needed.
- Apply discretion, work independently, collaborate as a team, and take initiative.

Previous experience in a country club or fine dining environment is preferred but not required.Appearance and Grooming

Routine requirements include sitting, standing, walking, kneeling / squatting, bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, holding, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs / ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Work Environment
