$1,600 to $1,800 per week
About The Position
Responsibilities :
Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
Review patient medical history and physician’s instructions before conducting procedures.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to the radiologist or interpreting physician.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed.
Adhere to established protocols, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow.
Participate in continuing education to stay updated with technological advancements and best practices.

Job Requirements
Qualifications :
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification :
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ( RDMS ) from the ARDMS , or
Registered Vascular Technologist ( RVT ), or
Equivalent credential from CCI or ARRT (S) .
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
State licensure (if applicable).
Strong technical and anatomical knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
