This is a 11-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. Finance at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance and leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile and make a difference in how we do business. In this role, you won’t just crunch numbers - you’ll use digital tools to automate reports, visualize performance trends, and deliver insights that shape decisions. What you will do

• Support finance managers with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and month-end close activities.
• Analyze results, identify variances to forecasts, and surface risks and opportunities for business leaders.
• Prepare and deliver recurring financial reports and performance analyses that inform decision-making.
• Partner with analysts to streamline recurring tasks, leveraging automation and digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Explore and recommend new ways to present and interpret financial data for clarity, accessibility, and impact.
• Collaborate across finance, operations, and data teams to ensure analyses are accurate, relevant, and actionable.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect numbers to business impact.
• Proficiency with core digital tools - advanced Excel plus exposure to visualization platforms (Tableau/Power BI), collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams), and/or basic coding concepts (SQL/Python/VBA).
• Intellectual curiosity and adaptability: able to quickly learn and apply new technologies in a finance context.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

-At least 18 years of age
-Legally authorized to work in the United States
-High School Diploma or GED
-Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
-Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
