Medical Assistant

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
Starting Pay : $18.50 / hour

As a Medical Assistant in our Integrated Health Clinic, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals in crisis, helping them navigate care with empathy and professionalism. What You'll Do
Welcome and engage individuals with empathy and excellent customer service.
Conduct screenings (e.g., PHQ-9, fall risk, ACEs), take vitals, and manage medication pre-authorizations.
Perform Clozaril POC testing and communicate results to nurses and pharmacies.
Support physicians and nurses with lab results, medical records, and pharmacy coordination.
Assist telehealth practitioners and ensure equipment is functional.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Respond to consumer inquiries and care alerts in a timely manner.
Ensure a clean, organized clinic environment.
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of training.
What We're Looking For
Current, up-to-date resume.
Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
Experience in behavioral health or integrated care preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform screenings and assessments with sensitivity and accuracy.
Familiarity with EMRs and telehealth platforms.
Commitment to cultural competence and trauma-informed care.
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic setting.
