Occupation Therapist (OT), In-House

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team Full-Time at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic care to individuals with various disabilities and conditions. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized care plans that enhance their ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life. The Occupational Therapist will work in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient services

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities in daily living activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and case managers, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and strategies for continued improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with facility policies.
• Provide support and guidance to patients with disabilities, ensuring a caring and empathetic approach throughout the therapeutic process.
• Stay updated on the latest practices in occupational therapy, anatomy, physiology, and case management.

Requirements
