P&ID Designer (Chemical Process)

Overview

X-Bow Systems is growing quickly and has a new position we are looking to fill!

As P&ID Designer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining accurate P&ID drawings that are essential for the design, construction, and operation of energetic material processing facilities at our Luling, TX campus. Tasks assigned will range from joining small teams at step #1 of clean sheet designs to updating and improving already generated documentation for released systems. You will take the lead role in defining the P&ID template / structure, release and revision process, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Must Have

• 2+ years of directly related industry experience
• Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
• Experience in P&ID design, preferably in chemical industry
• Proficiency in Solidworks or other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of P&ID symbols, conventions, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience with common computer software such MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Willing and able to work in facility with hazardous chemicals.
