ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Establish, verify and maintain BOM structure (single or multi-level) profiles to insure MRP accuracy.
Manages, maintains and performs order administration for forecasted demand orders.
Manages, maintains and performs order administration for all jobs based on Sales Order demand.
Thoroughly understands ALL demand being driven in the MRP for a set of specific accounts.
Is held accountable for data integrity (date management) for JOB status within Haven MRP environment.
ReviewsJOB status and monitors availability of material to support job release date requirements.
Drives shortage review meetings with purchasing personnel.
Meets with Production daily and takes the lead role to facilitate the prioritization of jobs for production operations.
Prepares a detailed ship plan and schedule of all open jobs to support Sales Order Plan / Backlog.
Provides input to Program Management the status of current deficiencies that will impact the commit date(s) to the customer.
Provide risk reports to management for revenue impact to schedule.
Escalates critical issues.
Maintains production plan risk report highlighting material issue and production capacity constraints.
Insures sub level jobs are routed properly to higher level shortage requirements.
Interfaceswith all internal departments to communicate and coordinate various activities.
Monitor and drive daily shipment requirements though production, QA and Shipping.
Participates in Customer meetings and may act as the primary lead in communication of schedule.
Will assist in various inventory management, supplier replenishment and line stocking programs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : REQUIRED SKILLS Working knowledge of MRP.
Bill of Materials Structuring and component profiling.
Have an understanding of manufacturing process (CM experience preferred) Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated strong analytical skills in data analysis and reporting.
Excel experience (vlookup, pivot table, graph) / Macros (visual basic)preferred A solid understanding of manufacturing operations and associated processes.
Strong Computer Skills and Microsoft office software.
Excel strength a must.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION LEVEL Minimum of 2 plus years planning experience in an EMS environment.
High School and College Graduate preferred.
CPIM or APICS courses a plus.
