Job descriptionActive SC or compact RN license required and must be in hand before start, Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience required, Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required, Epic EMR experience preferred, Must submit Social Security card and driver's license for consideration, First-time travelers are accepted for this position, All RTO must be included at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs, Previous permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible, Royal blue scrubs are required, Free parking is provided with a parking pass upon badge pickup, Block scheduling requests require manager approval and depend on unit needs, Locals within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis, Expectations include possible emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November), Completion of approximately 4 hours of pre-start online modules is required,
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a SC or compact license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications for a night shift critical care contract.
Job Details
- Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at an acute care hospital,
- Patient ratios are 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 in a critical care environment,
- Night shift position, 3x12 hour shifts, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM,
- Rotating every other weekend is required,
- Floating may be required to similar units or as needed,
- On-call only if census is low; no additional call shifts required,
- Epic is the EMR in use,
- Preferred experience with CRRT using PrismaX equipment,
