Job Description

• Teach courses including Introduction to Film, Global Cinema, and Perspectives on Film, covering topics such as film history, production innovations, and critical methodologies.
• Develop course syllabi, prepare instructional materials, and deliver engaging lectures both in person and online.
• Advise and evaluate students, maintain records, and participate in departmental and institutional activities.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to a student-centered learning environment.

Additional Information

Part-time faculty are paid per lecture hour equivalent (LHE), with rates of $1191 / LHE for non-doctorates and $1262 / LHE for doctorates for the 2024-25 year. Faculty can advance on the salary schedule after successful teaching in two semesters.
