Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech Site

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Tech Site in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and / or site management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with implementing site-specific protocols for emergencies and / or evacuations as directed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
